Scholarship Process

The following process shall be followed for applying, verification, approval, and disbursement of the Kavin Lifeseed Scholarship.

Step 1 – Scholarship Announcement

The scholarship notification will be published through:

  • Official Website
  • Social Media Platforms
  • Educational Institutions
  • Newspapers/Advertisements
  • WhatsApp and Public Circulars
  • Community and Rural Awareness Programs
The announcement will include:
  • Eligibility criteria
  • Application dates
  • Required documents
  • Scholarship categories
  • Contact details

Step 2 – Application Submission

Eligible students must submit the scholarship application through:

  • Online Application Form
  • Offline Physical Form
  • Authorized Help Centres
  • Institution Referral

Applicants must fill all required details correctly.

Step 3 – Document Submission

Applicants shall submit the required supporting documents along with the application.

Mandatory Documents:

  • Aadhaar Card
  • Passport Size Photograph
  • Educational Certificates / Mark Sheets
  • Bonafide Certificate
  • Income Certificate
  • Bank Account Details
  • Community Certificate (if applicable)

  • BPL Card
  • Death Certificate of Parents
  • Single Parent Proof
  • Medical Records
  • Disability Certificate
  • Guardian Declaration
  • Recommendation Letter

Step 4 – Initial Verification

The scholarship coordination team will verify:

  • Completeness of application
  • Eligibility status
  • Authenticity of documents
  • Income and educational details

Incomplete or incorrect applications may be rejected or returned for correction.

Step 5 – Background Assessment

The committee may conduct:

  • Telephonic verification
  • Institution verification
  • Home visit verification (if required)
  • Reference verification

The purpose is to ensure that the scholarship reaches genuinely deserving students.

Step 6 – Scholarship Committee Review

The CSR Scholarship Committee will review shortlisted applications based on:

  • Financial condition
  • Educational merit
  • Social background
  • Special hardship conditions
  • Availability of scholarship funds
Priority may be given to:
  • Orphan students
  • Single parent students
  • Rural students
  • Girl students
  • First-generation learners
  • Students with severe financial difficulties

Step 7 – Approval & Selection

Selected students will receive:

  • Scholarship Approval Letter
  • Scholarship ID/Reference Number
  • Terms and Conditions Document

Rejected applicants may receive a rejection notification with reasons if applicable.

Step 8 – Scholarship Disbursement

The scholarship amount may be provided through:

  • Direct Bank Transfer (Preferred)
  • Institution Fee Payment
  • Educational Material Support
  • Hostel/Food Support
  • Medical/Emergency Educational Assistance

Payment will be processed only after successful verification.

Step 9 – Student Monitoring & Renewal

Students receiving scholarships must:

  • Maintain good academic performance
  • Maintain discipline and attendance
  • Submit progress reports when requested
Scholarship renewal (if applicable) will depend on:
  • Academic results
  • Conduct
  • Continued financial need

Step 10 – Scholarship Closure / Termination

The scholarship may be cancelled if:

  • False documents are submitted
  • Misconduct is identified
  • Student discontinues education
  • Misuse of scholarship funds occurs

The organization reserves the right to suspend or terminate scholarship support.
