Eligibility Criteria

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
KAVIN LIFESEED SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME

Under CSR Initiative of Kavin Health and Medicare Private Limited

The scholarship is intended to support economically and socially disadvantaged students who are unable to continue their education due to financial hardship or family circumstances.

ELIGIBLE CATEGORIES OF STUDENTS

Below Poverty Line (BPL) Students

Students belonging to families classified under the Below Poverty Line (BPL) category by the Government are eligible.

Required Proof:
  • BPL/Ration Card
  • Income Certificate issued by Tahsildar or competent authority

Single Parent Students

Students raised by only one parent due to:

  • Death of a parent
  • Divorce or legal separation of parents
  • Parent abandonment or desertion
  • Support by an unmarried mother or father
Required Proof:
  • Death certificate / legal documents / self-declaration
  • Income certificate of parent or guardian

Orphan Students

Students who have lost both parents and are living under guardian care, orphanages, or foster support.

Required Proof:
  • Orphan Certificate / Death Certificates of parents
  • Letter from guardian/orphanage (if applicable)

Students Facing Severe Financial Difficulties

Students whose family income is insufficient to support educational expenses.

This includes:

  • Daily wage worker families
  • Families with unstable income
  • Families affected by debt or unemployment
  • Students working part-time to support studies
Required Proof:
  • Income Certificate
  • Bank Statement (if required)
  • Self Declaration Letter

Children of Widows / Destitute Women

Students whose mother is a widow or financially dependent without stable income.

Required Proof:
  • Widow Certificate / Death Certificate of spouse
  • Income Certificate

Students from Rural and Underdeveloped Areas

Students residing in villages or remote areas with limited educational opportunities and financial resources.

Preference Will Be Given To:

  • First-generation learners
  • Government school students
  • Rural female students

Students with Medical or Family Crisis

Students affected by:

  • Serious illness in family
  • Disability of earning member
  • Accidents or emergency situations
  • Natural disasters affecting family income
Required Proof:
  • Medical Records / Supporting Documents
  • Recommendation Letter (if applicable)

Students from Economically Weak Families

Families with annual income below the limit prescribed by the scholarship committee.

Suggested Annual Family Income Limit:

  • Below ₹2,50,000 per annum
    (or as decided by the CSR Scholarship Committee)

Merit-cum-Need Students

Students with good academic performance but unable to continue studies due to financial hardship.

Minimum Academic Requirement:

  • Pass in previous academic year
  • Good conduct and attendance

Special Preference Categories

Additional preference may be given to:

  • Girl students
  • Differently-abled students
  • Children of frontline workers
  • Children of laborers and farmers
  • Tribal and marginalized community students
  • First graduate students in family
Required Proof:
  • Medical Records / Supporting Documents
  • Recommendation Letter (if applicable)
